*I'm hoping one of the SGHQ peeps answers*
When the "rules" were posted for a band to open at a tour stop wasn't it to be a local band?
Why is there an L.A. band openning a San Diego show when there were good San Diego bands to be voted for-- and in fact the best of the San Diego bunch had been booked?!?

the rule was each band can only apply for one opening city, and the band in that city that got the most votes won. If a band from ny wanted to apply for the indiana show and got the most votes in indiana then they would win the night.

There's no need to get all Al Gore about things, sometimes the voting results just don't go the way you want them to. Such is the nature of having a contest decided by voting.

Look at your picture to the left.

Stare at it for about five minutes.

Doing the Al Gore would look a lot like that.

Go to the venue's website.

Look for a link that says 'Buy Tickets.'
http://www.emosaustin.com/

Click it.

Buy tickets.
