*I'm hoping one of the SGHQ peeps answers*
When the "rules" were posted for a band to open at a tour stop wasn't it to be a local band?
Why is there an L.A. band openning a San Diego show when there were good San Diego bands to be voted for-- and in fact the best of the San Diego bunch had been booked?!?
the rule was each band can only apply for one opening city, and the band in that city that got the most votes won. If a band from ny wanted to apply for the indiana show and got the most votes in indiana then they would win the night.
There's no need to get all Al Gore about things, sometimes the voting results just don't go the way you want them to. Such is the nature of having a contest decided by voting.

i'm going to hope that he wants to surprise her with tickets so he typed different password combinations in for hours so he could get in here discretely to find out.

Sorry guys we didn't know, I was at work and was trying to find tickets ( no computer at work) ANd I was trying to get off those days. My apologies. Very very sorry. It won't happen again.
