hrm. i guess i didn't word it very well. i don't love this site. i dig the girls here. and i meant this thread to be a way to highlight some of the cool shit they do besides get naked for us to see.
ex.
"i like Rigel for her cupcake making skills"
"i like Morrigan for dishing out the iciest snark on all the interweb"
"i love AnnaLee for blogging about everything from ornithology to russian literature"
"i like Chloe for slurpping creamed corn off Trixie's cleavage.
whatevs. continue the snarkfest about SG, as opposed to the SGs.
and brush up on your literacy skills, ya dunces.
I love that I have found out a lot of cool music, TV shows and movies that I might not have (or might have taken much longer to come across) otherwise.
I love that, despite all the trolls and halfwits, this site has a seriously impressive brains-trust of regular posters who post in Current Events and elsewhere, from whom I have learned a great deal by reading their insightful posts.
I love just knowing that I have good friends from all around the world! For example, if I decided I wanted to take a trip to Canada, I know my sweet Tita would welcome me into her home with open arms, just as I would do for her!
Tita called me when she was still at sea...so distraught...her phone was about to lose service as her ship took sail. Her little 17 yr. old sister was supposedly going to be stuck at Newark, NJ airport for a couple days due to delays - straight through Christmas! I managed to get Tita's mom and sister's phone numbers before her phone broke up completely. Johnny and I ran to Newark airport, found her in the crowd...I gave her a huge hug! We found out the only flight to Canada was early in the morning, out of Laguardia, NY airport! So, off to Queens, NY we went!! I stayed in contact w/ her mom the whole time...of course she was MOST nervous...she thought her daughter would be stuck in the murder capitol of the world for almost a week! I grabbed her a hotel in Queens, right next to the airport, and hooked her up with a shuttle in the morning! Her family was so thankful and it made me feel so good to bring a family together for Christmas! Tita is the sweetest person I have EVER met in my life! She sent me the cutest Valentine's day card too!
I love Suri because nobody makes me smile like she can, she has a heart of gold, and the strength of a lion! And she's an AMAZING chef! Her buttermilk pie and rice pudding is to die for!
I think Brooklyn has the most beautiful mind, she is so elegant and classy, and her work ethic inspires me to the fullest extent! She's MOST fun to hang out with, she makes me feel all warm inside!
Nicolletta is like an exotic dream! Her talent behind the camera is INSANE, she doesn't miss a damn thing, and OMG redmess....that video of her is amazing! She's such a refreshingly unique person, I love it! To see her smile in person is something that I can NEVER forget...so beautiful!
Karma is just a lover. A total lover. She's SO opposite of selfish, it's almost unbelievable. She gives relentlessly....the way she shelters all those homeless animals and cares for them until she can find them a suitable home? She deserves a medal.
WOW! There's so many more things I can list, I can take up 100 pages of this thread EASILY.

Exactly this! I don“t give that much about the status on the site, SG, hopeful or member, if you can tell something about music, movies and all the things that make life worth living, you are in my book of cool people.
I love having a blog, even though I don't believe anyone reads them all. It lets me review my day, and cut myself a slice of wisdom from each experience I had during that day.
You know, I think the OP meant what you liked about SGs, the people, in particular, rather than SG the site. Personally, that they give unto us their nudity is pretty much enough but some of their tattoos are really good work and good tattoos are always nice to see.
Probably my favorite is Reagan, who is sadly no longer active on SG, but she does have a Twitter which is full of interesting things as well as her photoblog on wordpress which does a weekly tits for tuesdays update, among other things.
Second place is Amina with her Twitter and her own custom leather belt business at kyodt.com and they are AWESOME, if a little expensive, they're worth it with a little saving up, at least to me.

Carmelita, you have a way with words, and are made of light.

I love that you posted this immediately after, and apparently in response to, her comment about the point of the thread not being about the site but rather about the girls.

Why would we start following the original intent of the OP? Threads go where the threads go - damn the rules!
