First off, what does it mean when a set "goes live"?
And what's this "second-chance Sunday" I've heard about?

I'm getting a hang of this site, I swear.

When a set "goes live", it means it is purchased by staff and featured on the front page.

Second Chance Sunday is old school, and is no longer in practice. It has been replaced by Member Review.

SCS (Second Chance Sunday) used to be a promotion where sets that got rejected first time round by staff, had the option of having a 'second chance' at being purchased - they were put up in what is now Member Review, and every sunday SG staff would pick 1 rejected set from an established SG and 1 from a hopeful.

My debut set was picked up by Second Chance Sunday.

You must've been here for a while, Scotty. By the way, Captain Kirk never actually said "Beam me up, Scotty".

Yes Rigel pointed that out to me one day actually.

Ha. It was always some variation on that.

Oh, one more question. How do you turn a SG's name into a link to her page like you did there?

Below the comment box are several links next to the word INSERT. One of them is Member Name. Or you can just type it in after you've seen how it's coded.

This was the only thing I knew about Star Trek and it was a lie. I'm so heart broken! eeek
