The thing is these girls were in limbo for so long most of them put their debut sets in Review to go live but still they are all super hot girls I want to see come out of limbo!

I think there are a few different definitions of "Limbo" according to who you speak to.

Official definition of a Limbo Girl, as it's been used since the dawn of the site: A girl who staff has purchased a set from, but her set is not yet live and has never been seen by members. If you have sets in Member Review but have no sets queued by staff, you are not a Limbo Girl, you are a Hopeful.***

We used to get all excited when a girl went into Limbo, because it meant we had a brand new girl we'd be getting to see naked soon.

***Some girls' sets were purchased by SG and then for whatever reason unqueued (most happened all at the same time). Some of those girls subsequently put their sets in Member Review and wound up having those sets go live through Member Review -- but there aren't many of those girls, and there's never really been a name for it because it's so infrequent.

So I'm no longer an SG and now a Hopeful?

Its safe to say that since you post in pink you are definitely not a hopeful!

Limbo Girls are SuicideGirls and their profiles will say SuicideGirl. It means they had a set purchased through Staff Review and they are waiting for us to see their set when it appears as Set of the Day. (Usually, waiting in limbo for their first set to appear under their Pics tab.)

Morrow and Mab aren't Limbo Girls because their sets were purchased through Member Review. We've already seen their sets under their Pics tab so, they're not in limbo.

When you go to an SG's page, if her set still has the "review" tab over it, doesn't that mean that this set wasn't purchased yet? I'm assuming she shot something that went into SR. Sigh, so confusing. Answers?

What Otter means is if a girl turns pink and the set that was bought wasn't in Member Review before (but was purchased through Staff Review only) the girl then is a Suicide Girl but is "in Limbo" until we see the set on the frontpage

and the set that made Iona pink isn't live or in MR yet, so she is a Limbo girl

No, it will have the MR banner on it until it goes up as SOTD. But you can usually tell by the profile picture a girl has when she turns pink if it's from a new set or a MR set. The profile pic is almost always from the bought set. So if the profile pic doesn't match the pic of the set in MR, it's likely that it's from a SR accepted set.

im def. still a limbo girl..
bc staff bought my set and then asked me if i wanted it to be put up through MR.
so i never got a "set of the day" debut. even though i went pink and my profile is an SG profile not a hopeful, and my set was paid for.
but idk what they classify that as!!! Haha
