I think the whole purpose of this is to write concise and heart-felt comments. The only reason why people write longer comments is because they relate to the concept or anything involving with the set.

Many times I see lots of one or two word comments like "Nice" "Cute" or "Very Beautiful" on sets and I was just wondering how the SGs and Hopefuls feel about these. Honestly. I know you girls love receiving comments but aren't these a little stale? Doesn't it suck when you have hundreds of comments but they all same pretty much the same thing? I often really like a set and want to say something original but I can't think of anything and I don't want to repeat the same phrases as everyone else. I do admit to giving in, though, just because it's better to say something than nothing. What do you all think?

P.S. I saw another thread somewhat like this from 2004 but it really didn't address what I was looking for.

here goes my two cents... many times I will Post "nice". I don't think that it is very stale for a few reasons....One if a model gets 3,999 comments do you really think she is going to have the time to read all of them? most of the nice comments will get skimed past but if you write a book bet it still has a good chance of getting skimmed back...So say the model reads you long comment?
then what? you make her day because some jerk who paid $4.00 to see her
naked can say man your so smart and you have really nice titties?I think some care...But for the vast majority of the models that have the huge number of comments...I think they don't care so much...I can right nice to
a hopeful that has 20 comments and get a response "thank you" or I can

write a book to a model that has 3,99999 comments and get nothing...I say its good to get a nice vs "not for Me'". I can easily find tons of models that I dont like and blast every negative thing....Too me that would be being an asshole...I might not like the fat chick with no ass but someone else might...so mostly I won't say "not for Me" It has bee god awful for me to

put down not for me...So I think nice is a good comment. biggrin

I for one do read all of my comments. It's true I've never had even 1000, but I would still read them even if I did. I've actually gotten a few friends out of people that left interesting comments: One member noticed particular books on a shelf in the background and commented on that, which started a dialogue.

when I meet an attractive girl in person I can usually only muster one word and it's usually the wrong one so I just be true to myself and say something dumb if I really like a set. Sometimes my dumbest comments are on the sets I like the most. smile

You guys do know that "not for me" goes to the staff and not the girl, right? So say if you thought the photography was not up to standard, or you didn't like that it was heavily airbrushed, or you thought that the girl wasn't the kind you'd want to see on SG... you tell the staff. The staff want to please their customers.

It's not just a general "haha your set was poop, you minger" button.

I just thought I'd say this because some people seem unclear, and if lots of people don't know, it's not going to get used properly.
