I joined fairly recently but I have checked the boards almost daily since 2003. I could find at least one entertaining thread that usually consisted of a bizarre advice request and responses to that posted by a lot of funny members and funny SG. Most of these people are gone or don't post to the boards very often. I realize it is odd to go to a porn site for laughs but that's what I did. So many of those old threads were PRICELESS.

I want a hoverboard. With Al riding shotgun in her nun outfit. Or since she's not too active anymore Klodi also looks awesome in a nun outfit.

I'm going to be such a disappointment when I get home in the TicTac with a box of wine....

Most everyone has already put it better than I could....but I agree that overall...it has led to a homogenized version of SG. It's now mostly about pretty faces & cookie shots.....with the occasional really great set getting in.

What the site lacked in photography back in the old days...it made up for with originality & grit. Now...the photography in the accepted sets is amazing.....but too many of the sets are just not that interesting beyond the fact that there's a pretty naked girl in them.

While I think it would be rude to post examples of pictures I thought represented the current trend.....I have no problem saying we need MORE of the following:

Member review is so loaded with crap that you have to dig to find sets worth looking at. It boggles my mind that there are sets that get rejected for MR. I can only imagine how awful those sets must be.

I think you're missing the point. SG has content, easily available to members, that was complete crap (since my original post, MR has seen a massive and welcomed purge). New sets used to be a surprise. Now it is "Oh hey. I see that set from x number of weeks ago got bought".

Wholeheartedly agree. There's a lot to be said for anticipation and surprise
