There's no problem on non-Macs, as far as I can see. I haven't tried the fonts yet, but the images look fine in Gimp on Linux. If that __MACOSX folder irritates you, I'm pretty sure you can simply remove that if you're not working on a Mac.
I always thought the original logo with added accessories for different occasions would be cool, kind of like Google does on different days of the year. I could see a pirate hat and eyepatch on her, Tank Girl haircut, etc. Keep the style, just small subtle changes like the modification for "grim".
I have a stupid question, i already posted it on the tattoo group, but still, i thought i may get an answer here
Now that we have more SG's logos. If i ever get a different logo tattoed, is it still valid for the 'lifetime' membership? Or does it have to tge the classic one?
i kind of like the new logo, but i also agree its a bit distracting. in any case, thats the logo we're using on sets for now, if there's a real outcry we could switch it back.
i LOVE the 2nd and 3rd one. i like new things, a little fresher-uper, so things dont get boring
The current OGI one is the best. The second one is not generic enough to stand as a representative of SG as a whole while the third is too detailed for a small sized logo (great otherwise though, like for the bookcover), the fourth one is just... not a logo.... and the last one (and no offense to the artists when I critique them) looks like a bad attempt at using the trace tool in Illustrator. From an Information Designer's professional opinion yes our current OGI was the best choice.
