"your activity feed hasn't been generated yet. Be patient, it might take a few minutes."

So how many minutes are we talking about?

I think that it is a wonderful feature (especially the side bar), and it shall get befter as the bugs (if any) are solved, and requests are implemented.

Face...book? I should check that out...

Cheers,
Lord_Frous

P.S. In case this information is useful: I successfully used the feature and saved my changes in Opera/WinXP. I have not tried in Firefox/WinXP or Linux yet.

How are you ever going to see new threads in a group?

You can only see threads you've commented on, so if no one has commented on a thread no one will ever see it unless they click on the group just to see if there may be new threads to comment on.

Click the eyeball next to the checkbox. That doesn't affect your preferences, just what's visible at the moment you're looking at it. The eyeballs are basically the opposite of the checkboxes, for the purposes of viewing, but not for saving preferences.

I really like the feature where you can be kept posted on alias changes.

if you click on the little eyeball next to that option on the MY SG page (where you see the 'save options' button), it filters just that option.

ooo thank you.

ok, the upgrade is dope. I love it.

One more question though, where do book marked profiles stand?

I'm going out on a limb here, but it's possible we might add new events into the system as we go forward. Until then, the "Groups" link at the top of the page still works the same way it always has.

Even more nice! (if you're talking about get-together-type events. (Hookup events could definitely use a bit more publicity)) biggrin

Bookmarked profiles might have gotten lost in the shuffle, but they should be back at some point.

Is anyone else having trouble with their email messages?

My problem: I click a message and this annoying thing pops up, dings and says "Object: Error" not once but then twice.

Typing a message a hitting reply just gives me that spinning thing forever, no message sent.

I posted this in the BUGS thread but it's worth repeating here:

If you can't save changes to your MySG feed (as in, the checkboxes are still checked after unchecking them the next time you load the page), clear your cache and try again.

If your changes simply aren't being reflected in the content of your list when you reload the page (but the checkbox isn't checked), that's a design flaw and will be fixed soon.

Noted. It's a bug with Internet Exploder. Will be fixed.

I find my SG page ridiculously confusing.
I just want to see what blogs my friends have written and what groups have had recent comments. And I would like to see them seperately. I don't like seeing them together.

This is not easy to navigate.
Before I could click and read through all my friends and bookmarked pages easily and read them.

Now I can only see ten items at a time, which means that if the blog isn't in the top ten I can't see it. Not to mention at a glance I cannot tell what is a comment in a thread or group and what is a blog.

It is completely unclear.
This has also crashed my browser three times. And I can't save any changes because the page has an error.

Amen sister!!!!! I feel the same. What a frustrating jumble of stuff.
