how can i change my name? or should i ask can i change my name? when i created my account it added five numbers after what i put in... anyways any help is appreciated.

Seriously though, click on the "Help" link in the upper right corner of every page, and check out the FAQ:

6.14 Can I change my username?

Maybe... Go to your main Profile Page. In the upper right hand corner of your profile blurb there is a button that says 'EDIT' click on it to change your alias and profile layout.
If the name you want to change it to is taken, try a different spelling or ad an underscore.

Yeah, Crash, I feel with you. All the good names are allready taken.
I got a 370560 behind my name, in march. I mean: 370560, how boring is that. If it had been 370561, it would have at least been a prime number but 370560.

Well, try some underscores, all the cool people have it (unless they are so cool to get their name in the first attempt).
