I think that everyone sees the concept of interaction here differently. Some people will only friend request or accept friend requests from someone they've actually met in real life, where some people think, big deal, it's the internet, I'll accept anyone.

No. Rigel's point is that that isn't how things work now. It's how people who don't really understand the SG dynamic mistakenly think things work now. Once a set is accepted, it then goes into Member Review, where SG members only can view the images and leave comments. Sets that get really great feedback from our community will be queued as a Set of the Day, and the girl will officially “go pink” and become a Suicide Girl.

I think many of us would have far less of a problem with random friend requests if the person made even the slightest effort. Maybe even a comment in my journal like "Hey...I liked what you wrote in the "Name for favorite Band" thread. Or "I liked the "photography" album in your pics".

Also...you've been a member for, at most, a month. Back 'er down a little.
