If the same model uploads a new great set everyday to member review, should we buy it everyday? What if she uploads a new creative sexy interesting set each week?

Should there be a mandatory wait period between when sets are bought? How long should it be?

What if instead of a waiting limit between how many you buy, there was a waiting limit on uploads themselves?

Say, if she uploads a set, she can't upload another for 1 month (or 2 months, or 3, months). That way, you can be sure the set she uploads is her absolute best, since she won't get another shot for x amount of time?

I think every day would be a bit much, since it would be redundant no matter how hot the girl was.

But I see nothing wrong with models uploading sets every month, if the sets are creative and well-done, and them being bought. I think that's enough time between sets to where when you see them again it's new and exciting.

Maybe there could be a mandatory wait of at least a month? I'm sure a lot of people don't feel the same way I do, but this could also discourage submitting rapid sets and encourage taking time between sets to plan and make sure they come out great.

As many beautiful and talented women as there are on this site, I think a short wait time between buying a set from the same girl over and over is a good idea. Say maybe I don't know 2 or so months. It's not that long but atleast it's long enough to feel like we are seeing some of what else SG has to offer over the same girl no matter how great the set.

Even if the sets continue to out do them self. To many sets of the same girl in to short of time, the girl and her sets start to lose impact and it's just "Oh it's her again".

I think there should be a mandatory wait period. If I know I have to wait, I'll only send the best of myself (and guess all of us would do the same)

I would be terribly bored with the same girl every week. I would love to see lots of faces that haven't been on the front page since looooong ago, and the same faces keep apearing over and over on the front page (yes, most of those sets are incredible... others more of the same)

To me a good waiting would be 3 months.

Plus (if that matters)

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Numbers!

365 days a year x 2 sets a day= 730 sets
Sets of new girls = 2 per week (I guess I'm right), so 104 sets for new girls
Popular girls get a media of 4 sets per year, and I can count like 20: so 80 for popular girls
Not so popular but still popular get like 2 per year, and here there are lots of girls.
In the end we have less than 500 "spare" sets a year, and more than 1800 girls.

I'm going to go with this, and in a roundabout way it is answering the question.

There should be a waiting period of some sort to submit a set. Maybe 2 months is too long, but at least a few weeks. In a sense, this would go hand in hand with sets making it too, (if I follow everything correctly) to give other girls either more of a chance to get a set bought, or just exposed.

Just if someone is submitting a great new set EVERYDAY, (and I realize that would be just hypothetical) in a buisness sense, that kind of can have the audience lose that "Man, I can't wait til [Model's name here] does a new set! Her work is amazing!"

Yeah, that's what I was getting at.

I also think a waiting time between set uploads, that way the sets are likely to be higher quality if there is time to sort out another amazing set before the next upload.
Personally I am less inclined to look at new member review sets from girls that already have a ton in there.

one a month i'd say. that way none of the girls get burned out from overexposure. some ladies have access to great photographers and will be able to shoot tons of sets and they should be able to upload them and get them on the site.

one a month, unless there's a spectacular multi. it's not the girl's fault that people like her and think she's gorgeous. some girls are going to be more popular than others.

i think 6 weeks wait time in between would be good but i'd like to see exceptions made for multis and contest submissions.

I agree with the above but would say 1 set a month could be submitted. Only because after you submit you still have to wait in the queue to go in MR.

are we talking from sgs or hopefuls.

cause the way i see it. not to many people are really abusing the send as many sets as you want rule. i see the occasional hopeful that sends in a bunch of sets, but nothing to excessive, and they still have to wait in the queue, so im not seeing a problem

i dont feel the need to penalize a popular sg for being so. no one is sending in sets everyday, or even every single month. the ones that do send in sets fairly frequently have excellent sets and they would have been bought regardless. sgs dont seem to have to long of a queue to go into member review, its just hopefuls that have to wait forever.

i do have a problem with the contest submissions, example. if i wanted to submit for the sept contests tomorrow. itd never see the light of day in time, not even close to in time. but im blaming that on the amount of crap hopeful sets that are given over to m/r. thats the only thing that buggs me about submissions right now

I agree totally to uploading one set a month, with exceptions for multis. I think the contest submissions should be no exception to that though, since we're always given ample time frames for those.

I think if a model wants to work hard enough, and submit an incredible set every fucking day...

Then buy it!

I don't care who I'm seeing... as long as it's a quality piece of work.

It hasn't been much of a problem so far, so I don't think it's really necessary to have a long, enforced waiting time between sets. Honestly, the only aspect I like about MR is that models who want to work their cute little asses off can submit often and actually make some money here, instead of this being just a naked hobby wink.

I would generally support a once-a-month set limit, though, but any more time I think is unnecessary.

(However...
The no-time-limit-thing obviously gives girls with easy access to photographers the advantage. To help the more remote girls out, perhaps SG could make more effort in getting staff photographers out to those regions, setting up daylong group shoots or something along those lines...)

PS... Thanks so much to staff for asking these questions, and taking others' opinions into consideration.

That's a good point. Some Hopefuls submit set after set after set, with no improvement. It would be nice to have a waiting time for Hopefuls too, so it would unclog MR a bit.

I don't think there should be a mandatory wait time, if a girl is submitting awesome sets every month than I don't see why it shouldn't get bought. However always seeing the same girl over and over can get a little repetitive and boring.

Just to make sure I'm clear on this:
Standard waiting period between sets = 2 months
*Exception for multi-girl sets = 1 per month, over and above standard submissions.
*Exception for Contest Submissions = Eligible every month, over and above standard submissions.

That would make it possible for a girl to submit 3+ sets (1 standard, 1 multi, X number of contests [ex 1 self-shot set and 1 angry set]) every other month and on the alternating months submit 2+ sets (1 multi, X number of contests [ex 1 self-shot set and 1 angry set]).

Still seems like a lot. The queue itself regulates that this has little chance of happening. Even (especially?) if the standards for MR are tightened further. Anyone who can put together that many wonderful sets, be my guest. As long as staff doesn't actually purchase every single one and we end up with a ____ Suicide week. Although.... j/k, variety is the spice of life.

Not all the same time! If you send a set to Contest Submissions and next you want to send a standart set, you have to wait 2 months... Or kind of...

"variety is the spice of life. "

I tottaly agreed. . . but i think that it was better if we don't have straight rules... Witch girl should know how to manage the quantity of sets to send , thinking it the execive exposure...

I like a mandatory waiting period. I think it's only fair to other girls who want their moment in the sun.

I like the idea of tightening queue standards as well.
