It seems that recently some models have become Suicide Girls without their photo sets having been "sets of the day". Their sets have gone up in the "from the Suicide Girls" section of the member review area, and still say "review" on the preview pic. Also, the models are not listed in "new Suicide Girls" near the lower left of the main page. But, they are listed as SGs in several other places. For example, they're found in "browse girls", and they're listed if you click on Girls and then click on All. Also, when they post it says they're an SG, and their post color is pink. Recent examples include Criss, Cerise, and Shotgun, and there are others too.

I guess another way of looking at it is that these models are limbo girls who have their sets in member review, but I can't decide if that makes any sense or not. Or, are they limbo girls who also have sets in member review?

I'm just curious to know if this is a new way for models to become SGs, or if there's more of an explanation about what's going on.

i believe it's because they were limbo girls who've waited a while and their sets havent gone up. so they chose to put them in review to get them up faster

Ok, but then shouldn't they go back to Hopeful status? I've been wondering this, too.

If SG have already paid them for their sets, then I guess they're still SGs, front page or not.

The option of moving already paid for sets which were waiting to be queued to the member review section was offered a while ago.

Many girls have been waiting a long time for these sets to go live, and opted to have them moved into member review, which has a queue which is only a fraction of the main one.

I think these are the girls you're seeing. Both Limbo girls and established SGs's accepted sets which have been lounging around the main queue for an eternity.

I'm remembering that there a few girls, a couple of years ago, who were paid for their sets but never became SGs? The sets never went live, because it was decided that they weren't up to the current standards as they'd been in queue for so long, and the girls (who had been Limbo Girls) went back to regular member status.

Not like it makes any difference to me at the end of the day. I'm just curious about why it's being done differently now.

I don't know, all I know is I've had a set WTBQ for 6 months now, and if I want I can send it in to MR so everyone can see it straight away, but it may never go up on the front page. I'm assuming Limbo girls have the same option.

The girls that were de-pinked before were done so on the basis they had been in Limbo for so long that their sets were no longer up to standard as far as photography quality went.

With the new system, it's hard to classify 'these girls', because SG clearly felt those Limbo girl sets were good enough quality to purchase them in the first place, so I doubt they'd have their SG status revoked. However, surely one of the defining factors of an SG (or Limbo) vs a hopeful is having a live set on your page?

I'm sure it's just an impatience thing, wanting to skip the queue smile

Yeah, I don't get that either, it's been a nearly a year since my set was put on the site, it's only been in member reveiw this week. I've had good feed back too. I reallydon't understand.
