because 92% (not exaggerating) of the sg blogs these days are about sets that have just been shot, sets that are going to be shot or sets that friends have shot. we get it.

to the 8% who still talk about things other than pictures of yourselves, thank you very much.

In all fairness, these women only get paid if their sets are purchased. If they can't spam the boards and groups, that leaves advertising them in journals. Lucky for us, sometimes it brings the lulz.

I find that every time I write a blog about something interesting, I get 2 or 3 comments. If I post boobie pictures or talk about a set, I get 20+ comments.

agreed! any time i write anything even remotely thoughtful in my blog i hear crickets so i just stopped doing it.

Comments aren't a reliable measure of views, just on the ease of forming a response. It's easier to say "Ooooh hot!" than to come up with a meaningful response to a more complex blog entry. I, for one, read about 20 times as many blogs as I comment on.

Naturally, everyone's free to post whatever they want on their blogs within the bounds of the TOS, but there's a lot of members of the site who joined, in part, because of all the interesting depth girls' blogs brought to their sets. There's something really cool about SGs being more than their pics, and getting a glimpse of a girl's personality is really refreshing. You don't get this when their blogs are all about their sets.

What I do is to write about my life, with pics in the middle

The more pics the more comments, but between "you're hot" "blablabla" comments, sometimes I find sweet comments about people who is knowing me, which is lovely
