Oh, I think you'd be surprised at what people will do in "public". As far as the internet goes, at least.

I'm never surprised. I'm usually ahead of the curve.

No doubt about that, but it wouldn't hurt to make it public to at least decrease the number of nasty tags.

True, that may dissuade some of the trolls. I'm just thinking, if someone's fucking low enough to stick racist tags on a set, I have to wonder if they even care whether people know who they are or not. Either way, I agree. Make them shits public, por favor.

In the mean time, let's all take one moment out of our day to leave nice tags on girls' sets. I think we all should work on spreading the love a bit more. Even if it's only a few of us, at least we can make it obvious that it isn't cool or acceptable to leave shitty tags!

Maybe if someone left a tag that was no "zotting" material, but uncalled for or rude, they should automatically have a 'tag abuser' flag on their page, or a section that shows people what they write to embarrass the crap out of them on a daily basis so they'll think twice about it....I think most users don't even realize anyone can see who wrote the tag.

Or maybe when you subscribe, a de-briefing about set/tag/comment etiquette you have to read before entering the site??

not sure if I am correct, but members used to have to be on the site for a minimum amout of time before they could use the tagging function..if that's the case I would hope they would understand how the whole thing works

I generally ignore tags, but I checked the tags on Fatality's recent SCS set and some of them are just outrageous! Several of them are likely by the same person. This particular asshat I would love to see made public! mad

Tags won't be made globally public. Besides the fact that it's contrary to the nature of tagging in general, it's technically impossible because of the data structure. That said, the worst taggers are easy to spot, and there are other options I've been considering to out them (none of which are officially under consideration, just ideas I've had, it should be noted).

Aw, thank you for the caring! It's okay, though, there are plenty of great ones there, too.

I think I'm going to make my next set me stuffing myself with food and call it "Tag This, Bitches!"

I have to agree with everyone's favorite amphibian: I looked at those tags yesterday and was pretty disgusted by them. I'm glad you don't let them bother you.
Besides... they're wrong. biggrin

You have to be active for 9 months to tag. I can tag my own sets, but no one else's yet.

Tags on Avery's set are pretty bad and/or rude. First time I've noticed in a while.
