i like the new mac commercial that exposes me as a bloated middle-aged out of touch pc guy instead of the smug dark haired (not the) dell mac kid.

This biggest problem I have with his statement is that right clicking and printing SG pictures means you only have the photo as a 72 dpi file which will not print very nicely for hanging art or anything else. If you resize the dpi then the picture shrinks too much. If a girl is selling a print (and if she's doing it right) she would be printing from a larger file at 150 + dpi for quality and hopefully having the print at 5 x7 or larger (in most cases 8 x 10)

Trading a good to people who want it is not panhandling. And you cannot get a quality print by saving it from the interweb.

Not only are most prints from High Resolution files they are also actual archive quality photos from professional labs rather than just a photo printed on a piece of paper.

Models and photographers all over the world have sold prints of their work forever, on the internet and in the "real world". I guess you're seeing a high concentration here because (shock horror) there are lots of models and photographers on SG.

Who cares what some of the reasons some girls are selling prints for? If you like to hang photos on your wall then great, you might find that perfect picture being sold! If you don't, well, err... you don't have to buy it. Similarly, if you don't like that a girl is advertising it in her journal or the SG sales group then you don't have to go to either of those places, read someone else's journal.

Oh! And there are a ton of girls selling prints that aren't actually from their sets, so no you haven't already paid to see those images. But paying a membership fee to see a web-resolution image on a monitor is very different from then buying that image in high quality format to hang on your wall.

And for the record - I have sold both photos from my sets and also original photographic work and the photos from sets sell about three times as well.

Well people asked me for it and the prints I sell are of high quality compared to what you could get if you chose to print straight of the site.

f i had the money i would buy prints from some of the girls myself, to me they are art.

the girls want to sell prints people want to buy them.... if the money is going to help a pet or sick relative then great, or if it's for new shoes then also great.... it's the girls money they can do what they like with it

Not all photographers will give out high res images to models.
We were given permission to sell prints from our sets only a few months ago. There are conditions and you don't know what they are.
Selling prints is a perfectly legitmate way to make money. Most of us don't get many sales anyway and shipping is expensive. Most of us also pay to get high quality prints made and offer them to be signed.
I also agree with what Keri said.

The only reason that I haven't bought prints is because I can never make up my mind, or I guilt myself out of buying them. I don't see a problem with it in any way.

also a wishlist is just that. something that you wishyou had. no one begs for presents, if someone feels like buying them something so be it. again, who gives a fuck. i know i've bought people something off of their wishlists that werent SG's so its not exclusive.

it's actually very good of the SG staff to allow the girls to sell prints as most sites wouldn't let the girls do this once they'd paid for/brought the images

Oh, cry me a river.
I am doing my first print sale soon in favor of WSPA. Personally I´d love to have a print of a beautiful girl, whom I even know from something as great as SG AND get the opportunity to support a good cause like Cherry moving across the globe or Anarchie having her back cracked or whoever getting a new spleen. Maybe you should do you own print sale and save up for something like a new perspective on things.

If people didn't buy them then the girl's wouldn't sell them. Supply and demand and a lil bit of marketing.
