SG 4.2: BUGS

Hello,
I have a systematic bug on FF18 and older, on a quite powerful Mac (32GB ram, 2Gb video ram, 3.1Ghz Core i5).
When opening the "past update page", the page freezes for some minutes…
Killing the Flash plugin the page runs smoothly again. I suspect the flash videos embedded in the flow to make FF freeze.
It's an issue I hadn't some months ago.
I also wonder if JS isn't too heavy…

When I am in MYSG feed on my android phone (using the full site rather than the mobile app), sometimes when I comment on a friend's blog, it leaves the comment on the post in the feed above or below it. It may be my phone being shitty, but figured it was worth mentioning.

The main "BOARDS" page is loading slow. Every other page loads normally, and if I bypass to a specific board or topic from my history, they load at normal speeds. It's just the main boards page.

It's only been happening today. I'm on a MacBook Air, running Safari.

Issue with Mobile updates page..
The JSON feed is buggy and not escaped.

Using Chrome & Firefox

hello,

having an issue using the upload from mobile feature. basically, I can't. I tried testing it the other day by sending a picture with text via my iphone, and I got a text back saying there was no address. I tried emailing it from the iphone and got an email saying the same thing.

Help here?

Not sure if this is a bug of intended behaviour

I'm having trouble staying logged in. Does the cookie expires in 1 day or something like that?
I used to be a member 2 years ago, this was never a problem back then.

Experiencing this on Safari / MacOS and mobile Safari on iPad at least.

I use the site on 2 of 3 computers, iPhone and Ipad....
So if logging in one device means the other get logged out that would explain a lot...

Kinda annoying though...

I'm so worried lately, my first set is about to be up and my MYSG section is not working at all.
I've already sent an email asking for help, they told me to clean the cache and that stuff but it's still not working.
I've joined SG from different computers. Also, one friend of mine joined with her SG account and hers was totally ok, while mine is fucked up..
As I said, the problem is that MYSG section looks totally empty, so I cannot be noticed about the new blogs and other news.
I hope you can help me here, since I'm kinda in a hurry for my set It will be up next week! :S

Blog Post Privacy Issue

If a person bookmarks a profile and has it so that their blog posts show up in the activity feed, those blogs show up even if the user posts it as "friends only". So essentially, the user can see the blog post with pictures and everything in the activity feed even if they wouldn't be able to see it by going to the blog itself.

I tried setting up my mobile by adding the email addresses given and my new Windows 8 phone won't let me text them directly? It wants to send it from my hotmail and say it's an invalid address?

I am on Firefox - 16.0.2
Everything is Working Great.

I Switch to Internet Explore 9.0 or Google Chrome 24.0.1312.57 m (the Newest Version)
And It Will Not Me Log In
Unless It Request a New Password.
Why Will it Not Let Me Use My Password from Firefox?

Both Browsers are Set to Allow Cookies

The problem is that the parser doesn't like the feature=player_embedded code, so you have to remove that out.

yep, with some copy and pastes it wont work without editing out the 'feature=player_embedded&' part, it is annoying, some links work some dont so you have to check

sometimes you get other variations to but basically you just make it look like a youtube link that you know is working on the page

I said as much a few months back. Just need short link support.

I've been thinking about writing a greasemonkey/tampermonkey script to address some of these annoyances in firefox/chrome. If people would be interested in that, I could try and put that together this weekend. It would be helpful to know what types of usage annoyances like this people have.

Same problem, only I'm on an Android phone. And I received an email from "mailer daemon" stating that no such address exists, even though I've set up mobile blogging.

I wrote one ! It's available here. The ff version needs some love, but the chrome extension solves a lot of the problems I have ( gallery... Etc)

If you think of other "plugin" ideas I am happy to implement them!
