Penetration (subtitled: can I go too far?)

My 2 cents...even though the pot is getting pretty rich by now...

It's up to the girls to show what they feel comfortable showing... if I am not comfortable viewing something or find it distasteful...there are thumbnail photos and I can tell what photos I do not wish to view full sized and will skip over them.

I'm not real worried about the site turning "hardcore" if a girl or two wants to get a little more explicit than what the "norm" for the site is. I have no problem with finger insertion, but don't really think I'd enjoy anything actual object insertions...I'm sure I can find plenty of that other places if I really cared to look. But again it is up to the girls and what Missy and Spooky feel is right for the site.

We all had this same kind of talk when Roxy's first set went up and we worked through that. I don't think the site has turned raunchy since then like some seemed to fear.

If the sites norm changes so drastically in a way I do not like, I will not continue to be a memeber...it's not really that hard of a concept.

I don't think this is *necessarily* true. I mean, if tomorrow 60% of people said they wanted to see spooky in an action shot with one of the girls, I don't think they would do it. I agree, SG will try new things and see what works, but people see the previews and think that is what they are getting. I don't think this site is going to lure a lot of people who will absolutely *demand* (ie - say they will leave if they don't get) harder material. No doubt, a lot of people (I assume including you and me) don't *mind* seeing that stuff, but at the same time, we like what we are currently getting, and have no problem venturing down other avenues to get the harder stuff.

I dunno. It's kinda like a seafood restaurant. Some people go there knowing it is a seafood place, but they still want steak. So, the restaurant offers a steak for those that want it, and that gets ordered from time to time, but the demand for the steak will almost certainly not cause the owners to expand the menu to include many kinds of steak, simply b/c the people wanting steak won't go there in the first place.

Anyhow, I could be totally wrong about that, but I don't think there will be a strong *demand* for harder material that will end up guiding this site down that path.

JustAnotherSupervillian: but the problem is, roxy was made to feel horrible over her set. i know she has purposely toned down a bit and is holding back because she wants to avoid going through that again. and that shoudnt have to happen, but i dont blame her, because people DID make a HUGE deal out of one harmless picture. and i think a few other girls are kind of afraid to try anything "more" than has already been done, for fear of the same drama being made over it. but then again i know a few girls who are going to try "more" anyway, so maybe that wil at least open it to those that do want to show more and wont have to be the first ones.

Nihixul: the problem with trying to determine what an adult site contains by the previews is previous generally dont (or cant?) show the FULL content of the site, or the most graphic stuff. so most people see the tease shots and assume there is a bit harder stuff when you're a member (after all, if they show the hard stuff in all the previews, no one would join sites, they would just check out all the sites previews). i think perhaps erm... a site "description" written by missy or spooky on the HOME PAGE that discusses the philosophies behind the site might hep, but then that might scare some people off.

hm. that's actually quite true. i think that, if this site philosophy issue does become a big deal (if it hasn't already), then they should indeed pen some sort of description, or perhaps just say the preview pictures are indicative of the style and level of the shoots. it might scare off some people, BUT i do think those numbers would be small. after all, if they didn't have such a description and the person joined anyway, then (assuming they were disappointed in the content) they would more than likely just cancel. interesting point, though.
