I think these guys might have some suggestions. Especially round two. You'll need to watch it in presentation mode (hit F5).

Hey, I need to do some due diligence on a company, could someone else do it for me and make sure that there is nothing wrong with its financial disclosure under Regulation S-K? It'd be awesome if you could email the results to me so that I can get back to the beach.

Love,

oyaji

Haverchuck, I need you to explain to everyone on the site when they don't get that people are joking around. If you can get on that ASAP, that'd be greaaaaat. Also, what's this I hear about you and your TPS reports?

Bah, lesson plans are easy. I can crank out a weeks worth of them in about an hour on Sunday afternoon. Now, getting all the materials together FOR those lessons takes a bit more time, but oh well smile

But you're a teacher. That's, like, your job. My job is to look disgruntled and scare people away from the reference desk.

Could someone drive out to Kingman for me, join a new laptop to the domain, and then using admin rights install the user's client's VPN software that neither I nor him is familiar with? It shouldn't take too much time.

So, are you asking for someone in the community to do a major part of your homework? I mean, kudos for the guts, but I think you should really give it a go yourself first.

I'd like to shoot a photoset. Could you find a girl who wants to be photographed? And then find a location for me? Also, you have a nice camera, and know how to use it, so could you take the photos for me? I'm a bit cack-handed at photoshop, so it'd be neat if you could give me a hand with that too.

I'm still wondering about the fact that the basis seems wrong. This ain't my subculture. And I spend a fuckload of time here.

I'm not quite ready to dismiss the "subculture" question completely. SG is a website, and there is a great deal of diversity among the members and the girls, but to me "subculture" or "counterculture" refers among other things to a posture or stance. Maybe it's a thing of degrees. Terms like alternative, goth, punk have been called subcultures. This site, at least in part, reflects these things. I don't know if there could be such a thing as a "virtual" subculture, what with the growth of the Internet, blogging communities, etc. I think it's an interesting thing to think about though. So, to the OP, I say "go for it!"

The counterculture of the 60's was anything but monolithic, but it took for the most part a stance against the Vietnam War and, in a larger sense, against the prevailing culture their elders had produced.

Perhaps you can discuss the differences between the "perceived culture" of SG and the real thing. That'd be interesting.

Personally if anything internet wise is a sub-culture.... Myspace is it. Think about it, we now have shirts like Myspace ruined my life, Tom is my only friend. Myspace is as close as you are gonna get.

I'd go with:

"I'm all day with my subculture up: a retrospective"

"Spread teh legs or Pussy shot from behind: that's the question"
