actually solid snake uses the guise of snake plissken on more than one occasion, they even play around with the "call me snake" and "I thought you were dead" lines. =)
In metal gear 2 when he's asked about his real name i think he uses the alias Iroquai Plissken. (and i'm really stretching it now but i vaguely recall Iruquai or however he spelled it meaning "snake")
I'm fairly sure that Kojima based solid snake on Plissken quite a bit considering all the puns and nods solid makes towards plissken.
so ner, they're a fair bit related

I beg to differ.... Metal Gear "Sons of Liberty" snake uses plissken as a alias then proceeds to go as snake. If SnakePlissken is going after the name from the "Kurt" movie instead of the Metal Gear series it can be a honest mistake, therefore no big deal
