I've thought about trying that occasionally but I am WAY too lazy.
I've tried to do it before because I really fucking appreciate every single coment on my sets (yes, even the stupid "I loved it!"s ) but I do not have NEAR enough patience to do it
I made it through a few pages but my computer is SO slow it is taking forever just to open a new window. I wish there was a little reply button with a smaller popup window or something, it would make it so much easier... And with that said, thank you for leaving "real" comments!
I reply to as many as I can. What makes me mad is when members make their journals "Friends only" and then complain that they don't get a return comment.

I'm now a fan of tabbed browsing (Firefox, etc.) It helps quite a bit.

i don't always reply but because the comments coming in are just " i loved it's! " lately, i will always give a damn and try to show those members i care.
of course having your set bumped to the first page is pretty nice.
you guys are dolls! and i know it's tough with pages and pages of "i loved it" to wade through on top of the hundreds to thousands of other comments you get.
I replied with a personal message for everyone who left an actual comment (not just I loved it). It took forever!! I hope I can keep doing that for all of my set
xoxo
Replying to comments is really nice. Understood that it is time consuming, and therefore a comment or blog post that says 'thanks for the comments' or 'those made me feel good' is a pretty close second.
I didn't start commenting on sets until I read "commenting on sets is really nice" and saw that the girls do read and like the nice comments.
At first I kept clicking on the 'i loved it' button because I thought that was the only way to make that little box go away and i really didn't want to click on the 'i hate it' button because i didn't want anyone to get fired or anything sad like that.
