See, not being an 'apple folk' but an ipod user... I think this comment is very telling.
As far as I can see, apple just gave losers a way to pretend to be better than everyone else. You are only elitist because you can be, because a brand has told you that you are. It's like if a school principal suddenly made all the losers in school the cool kids. It's all the 'indy' kinds that are buying into the marketing more than everyone else.

I mean, sure, your ibook is awesome, or whatever. I'm not going to learn to use one until next semester when I have to start using video editing software. And don't get me wrong, the zune looks like crap, and it won't sell, and I love my ipod.... but I'm not going to be an "elitist prick" just because I've purchased a product.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm... knowing mydogfarted. Why would somebody seriously call themselves an elitist prick?
