how do u select them to be ur faves?

Click the little heart in the upper left, where the arrows be.

When you are viewing photos check out the box in the upper left: above the arrows and to the left of the pic number is a little black heart. Highlight and it turns pink, which means the current pic is now in your favorites.

It's not immediately recognizable that the heart button is the add button, though.

Don't be sorry. It gets to be a little intimidating here but you are always bound to find someone to help you. In Al's defense though, she has had to answer questions like that everyday. All of us had to earn at one time.
