I don't care for the way their bodies are stylized. Suicide Girls aren't cartoon characters or Barbies and they shouldn't have hip to waist ratios that suggest they are. Just my two cents.

Good lord they do, don't they. You have to admit though that the colors and the patterns and the layout are striking. That's what caught my eye, anyway.

I don't like it either. To me the images...I don't know if they were drawn or computer generated...look similar to real dolls.
I don't think it looks good at all. Not attractive. I hope that's not really the calendar, but if it is, I won't be purchasing one.

I don't remember people being so vocal about complaining about Rion Vernon's tiny waists and large hips when he designed the calendar... confused

Vernon has his own style, which shows through almost all his drawings, but we know from the final result that they are different models/person. I would compare it to alexj's drawings (really impressive work). There's a really defined line through all the illustrations, but we really can recognise the girls.

I've the feeling that Vernon (and Alexj) try harder to capture the bodies' personality of their models.

I'm just less impressed by the ones shown above. I would have to see them bigger to really confirm my opinion, and all that doesn't mean I don't want one wink.

Well the backgrounds are really cool.

I find the figures to be wholy unappealing and borderline feminine; which is a shame as they should be the focus point. Instead, the girls are the most boring, and meagrely rendered part of the layout.
