I looooove porn.
So do my friends.
But they laugh at me for subscribing to SG. 
Anyway. I'm sure there are people who enjoy porn, people who claim to hate porn and enjoy it anyway, and people who genuinely hate porn. I'm in the first group, I don't like the second group, and feel bad for the third group.

I think a lot of the posters were right about America being a little uptight about porn compared to the rest of the world but to start going on about your threads being "exceedingly difficult to respond to in a serious manner because your arguments generally lack even some small semblance of rational structure" is getting ridiculous. If it's that difficult then don't bother responding. It's really not that big of a deal.
I'm sure I've made a lot of errors in this post so let's hear it boys 
As someone else said, your post was quite well stated. Before I get into this, ThedaFitzgerald, I hope that you understand by attacking your posts, we are not personally attacking you, just your arguments. I (and I'm going to simply assume everyone on this board) mean absolutely nothing personal, we just aren't on the same wavelength when it comes to communication
Back to my reply. Kellyjoy- Firstly, I take great pride in the thought that my arguments are carefullyl thought out and structured, I do not know whether you're actually meaning that as an insult (I believe you are).
The problem we "pseudo-intellectuals" as you put it have with Theda's posts is that they are simply incomprehensible. We can not agree or disagree with them because we simply have not, in the past, been able to understand just what she's trying to get us to agree with. For example, take one of her earlier threads today.
1/3 of all children are born to single mothers, or parents out of wedlock.

Yet they won't even consider giving gay parents kids. Shame on the court system!
Now, most of us thought that this was trying to tell us that gay people not being able to adopt children is a bad thing. May I ask what your first opinion on the purpose of the article is?
Now, after we had argued that, in actual fact, several states allow adoption by homosexual couples, and more will be following, Theda informs us that we had misunderstood the argument. The purpose of the argument was to show:
Wow, you guys really take the baton and run with it? No I am not saying a single mother is unfit to raise a child, I am however, pointing out (since you looked at my other thread) that marriage is a dieing institution (thats a crass word). And I am asking you why is it dieing? And why are gays being left out of it?
Until this point we had absolutely no idea she was attempting to link the threads together, or that the thread was even close to being about marriage, Do you honestly think even 1% of people reading her original post would have guessed her actual meaning? This is what we're frustrated at. How are we supposed to reply to her posts when we can not even begin to take her arguments at face value?
Finally (this post is getting too long already), there is no need for personal insults here. We are not attacking Theda personally, we are attacking her arguments, the way she expresses herself, her evidence and her posts, but (aside from a few hasty words) not her, her lifestyle, her personal choices or her beliefs after the evidence has been presented. I think this is something that should be occuring more on the internet, and simply labelling us "psuedo-intellectuals" because we don't descend to the level of forum trolls frankly boggling.

I'm not arguing I am inquiring. I could write the best damn essay ever, and submit and everyone would attack it. I find that no one here shares my views (variety is wonderful) I do not have the time to exert exterme amounts of energy into threads and "properly" argue every damn point. However, I like learning about different views and I enjoy listening to people's beliefs. Quit looking for a fight with me, I don't have one.
I just like hearing what you all have to say, most of you are decently intelligent although you would die in post modern poetry 
. So this is my official annoucemnet I have no argument. I just want to know what you fine people think. Is that so wrong?
ps. (pseudo intellectuals) One of "you" labeled yoursleves that. I hate terminology. We are all people, that is enough for me.
