If you needed another reason to buy one of the new video iPods, you've got it: The World Famous SuicideGirls.com has just launched SGTV, with a video podcast of ten 3-to-5 minute episodes currently available for free download.

New episodes profiling one of the current SuicideGirls will be posted weekly. The episodes will feature video sets, interviews, and candid moments with the SuicideGirls, and will be available for free download at http://suicidegirls.com/ipod/.

The free downloads are made using Apple specifications (with the new H.264 codec, for all you curious tech geeks out there), so there are no special programs needed to get your SuicideGirl video fix.

If you don't have a video iPod yet, you can also watch SGTV in iTunes. You can also download podcast versions of the weekly SG Radio Show that airs live on Los Angeles station Indie103.1 FM every Sunday night.

A. I have no use for an iPod and am generally leery of a computer corporation that still hasn't quite figured out 'Multi-Button Mouse'.

B. I'm holding out on getting any more SG junk and saving up for when they release the breakfast cereal. Frankly, a box of SG-reeios is just more appealing to me.

I'm assuming you don't have to be a member to watch these videos. I just watched Tegan's vid and I thought "pornographic content" was for people 18 and over. Do boobies and ass not count? Does anyone know what's going on with that?

That method works just fine.

I just want to point out that if you have Firefox and the Quicktime plugin you can just watch it online. No need to download it or even subscribe.

RSS feeds are available to non members and iTunes isn't privy to your session data in Safari or whatever so you don't need to be either a member or logged into SG to download the videos. And it isn't really pornography, well, i don't consider those videos porn anyway. It is adult or explicit content though, as the RSS feed is formatted to inform you in iTunes. Hell, some of the things Dawn and Drew talk about sometimes are way more explicit than anything i have ever seen on SG.

It took me a few tries dragging it into iTunes before it took. Couldn't say what was different about the last time that made it work.
