WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Conservative U.S. evangelist Pat Robertson, who called for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, said on Wednesday he was misinterpreted and there were a number of ways to "take him out" including kidnapping.
"If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it."

Oh Jesus, the guy doesn't even have the cajones to stand by his words? Now he's blaming the media? Gimme a fucking break.
What do you mean? Maybe when he said "take him out" he meant take him out for coffee. I hear they like their coffee down in that neck of the woods. How dare the media think that when he said "If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it," the "it" referred to "assassinate him." Obviously it's a zionist conspiracy to discredit and defame him.
Book of Genesis, Mark V13:1,
"And lo, the land shall be pepperred with naysayers and the arrogance of false prophets, take thine leave of them. In them shall be found no virtue, no goodness, for they are them who lack the ears to hear thine lord's good words, lack the spirit to capture it's providence and the balls to stick up for what they say."
I had this cretin figured out when I was about 7 years old and he took all of the credit for praying a hurricane away from South Carolina. My grandparents and mother basically worshipped him. By the time I was in college, I would leave the room if he came on when Grandma was watching TV. I don't recall discussing why I hated Pat Robertson so much; she would just ask where I was going. One afternoon a campus bookstore had him on their TVs, making it the last time I set foot in the place.
While we're at it, let's look at a couple of things....
The terrorists want to kill infidels.
Our government gives money to "faith-based" organizations (as long as it's the same "faith" as the one(s) in charge).
And let's not forget the recent elections, where a number of states passed religious-based laws against gays and lesbians after the Federal government attempted to draft it for the entire nation.
But there couldn't be any PARALLELS in this whole thing; is that even POSSIBLE???
