"To put it bluntly, if Bush has taken Congress and the nation into war based on bogus information, he is cooked. Manipulation or deliberate misuse of national security intelligence data, if proven, could be "a high crime" under the Constitution's impeachment clause. It would also be a violation of federal criminal law, including the broad federal anti-conspiracy statute, which renders it a felony 'to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose.'"
Missing Weapons Of Mass Destruction: Is Lying About The Reason For War An Impeachable Offense?, by John W. Dean, FindLaw, June 6, 2003
I also seem to remember Bush getting in trouble with the law.

Well if Ken Starr can go after Clinton for a blow job...
Technically it wasnt for a bj, it was for telling her to lie to a grand jury about it.
which last time I checked is a felony.
It's funny that people keep forgetting that part of it, isn't it?
It's telling that you guys bring it up every chance you get.
When it isn't blamed on a blow job anymore we wont have to.
But you will, because its easier than learning or accepting the truth. You guys can't even get your own witch hunt straight. Clinton was never even accused of trying to get Lewsinky to lie to the grand jury, he was accused of trying to get her to lie in the Jones deposition.
And if you don't think it was about a blow job, then why do you suppose they were asking about the blow job, hmmn? It was immaterial to both the civil suit and the grand jury investigation. It was not illegal or relevant to the harassment suit, they were just tools used to put him in a position to embarrass him.
So I think we have established that both Clinton and Bush have lied.
They are politicians...so I am not that surprised.
Clinton is no longer in office.
Bush is.
If you slap one man's hand for a lying (or asking someone to lie) about getting head, or Whitewater, or whatever the fuck, then in all fairness you should have no hesitation at putting a Texas-size boot up the ass of a man who lies about things that are just (in my opinion) a little bit more important (i.e. reasons for going to WAR) A war and aftermath, I may add, that has killed many more people than Clinton's Penis ever will (granted he isn't S.T.D. ridden.)

Your kidding right?
You should maybe check out economic trends over the last century, matched to occupancy of the White House. People tend to get rich under Democrats, poor under Republicans (and I don't mean just the top 1%, who are the only ones getting richer under the current regime.)

maybe you should check out how long it takes economic trends to effectively start working amongst an entire population.

about 2 to 3 years. which is about how long a president needs to start actually making changes in the direction of the country (unless they have a war to speed things along). i always hear this argument from people who're bitter about bush losing to clinton, and honestly, bush took almost 4 years to do anything with the economy, and even then, we didn't pull out of the recession until about 3 years into clinton's presidency.
