You should maybe check out economic trends over the last century, matched to occupancy of the White House. People tend to get rich under Democrats, poor under Republicans (and I don't mean just the top 1%, who are the only ones getting richer under the current regime.)

You should maybe check out economic trends over the last century, matched to occupancy of the White House. People tend to get rich under Democrats, poor under Republicans (and I don't mean just the top 1%, who are the only ones getting richer under the current regime.)
maybe you should check out how long it takes economic trends to effectively start working amongst an entire population.

maybe you should check out how long it takes economic trends to effectively start working amongst an entire population.
about 2 to 3 years. which is about how long a president needs to start actually making changes in the direction of the country (unless they have a war to speed things along). i always hear this argument from people who're bitter about bush losing to clinton, and honestly, bush took almost 4 years to do anything with the economy, and even then, we didn't pull out of the recession until about 3 years into clinton's presidency.
