So, as a Catholic, it's my job to do become a private investigator and figure out who is raping little boys right now? Or as a white guy, it's my responsibility to do something about white supremacists? Why are we saying that it is the Muslim community's job to stop people from being terrorists?

WHEN PEOPLE GET ANGRY, THEY JUST DO FUCKED THINGS!!! COMMON SENSE EVAPORATES... ANGER DESTROYS YOU & EVERYONE ELSE AROUND!!! see ya .....

Ah, yes. Being really angry justifies ATTEMPTED MURDER. They couldn't control themselves and should not be held accountable for their actions. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty angry. And I could use a new stereo. I'll be right back...

Yeah, in this and about a 100 other threads. Pulled his usual disappearing act again.

Well, in all fairness to Stockula, there's little point in continuing a debate if people either don't listen to you, or aren't going to agree with you... As for Dr.Hook, we'll just have to see what the courts decide... I remember reading somewhere that he cries himself to sleep each night in his cell tongue

I think Crivelli answered that question pretty well, so I'll re-post it:

Crivelli said:
With regards the Muslim community doing more to weed out the 'Radicals', the Met's Chief Commisioner and the head of the Muslim Council have pretty much said the same thing. A "friend" of one of the bombers who reported him after the attacks was on the news the other night and said he was aware of his radical views, I'd guess that there are a lot of people who are happy to have it known they have radical views and the people around them have accepted it. Maybe now they will question it and maybe now they will try to cooperate with the Police/Security Services. The Muslim community in Britain have already come out and condemned the attacks as strongly as they can publicly (which is nothing new as they have always publicly condemned such violence), saying now that the bombers are not 'Martyrs', but they have also admitted that they need to look inwards at their own community to see what can be done to stop the radicalisation of their children.

500 Imams have signed a Fatwa condemning 'terrorist' attacks and saying they are never justified under Islam. On tonights news there were several Muslims who were saying that if their community had to be subjected to an increase in 'Stop&search' by the Police they should accept it as part of neccessary measures to try and make an impact on radicalised people within their community. It is a massive change of attitude (not the condemnation which they always have but the acceptance that there are such people exploiting their communities).

I hope that it is a small sign that all Britains are pulling together over this and may actually have a positive longer term outcome leading to greater integration and understanding. That would be the best tribute the victims of the London bombs could possibly have. Certainly better than some stupid fountain.

Many of the conservative thinkers around here engage in effective prolonged rational arguments. Stockula posts and runs whenever somebody responds to his dogma and sensationalism with rational thought. Because he knows he has no response.
