You have the right to pursue happiness, you don't have the right to be made happy. Big difference.

Someone hinted at it earlier, but the "pursuit of happiness" and our right to "life" is dependant on a basic standard of health for all.



"life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is in the declaration of independence, not the constitution, so it really can't be used to make a constitutional argument.
