I don't consider the Queen to be my head of state – i'm a republican (UK style).

If they wanna get married, good for them – it's just a shame they don't have to pay to hire a church, pay for a buffet, pay for a photographer etc etc – instead the British tax-payer gets that priviledge.

Far as I've heard, its going to be a civil ceremony and pretty low key.

Most of his revenue comes from the Duchy of Cornwall, so I assume thats where the money will come from.
Of course, the Duchy is really owned by the tax payer, so it all works out in the end.
