NEWS: Environmentalism and the Church

What I did was exactly what I was trying to point out about people who attempt to punch holes in environmental science.

I brought up a series of confounding variables, and problems with the data she provided. For example the use of 99.9% as a representative number. What does it repressent, what is the Control Group made up of. Until she answers this question, she has no argument and I don't need to provide anything more then that in my analysis.

The right does this all the time. The present what is a valid question about a scientific study, and offer it to scientists that have evidence that does not support say the administration. Then, the scientists disprove their question, and defend their research,

but the Right simply keeps running with the question they came up with way back when, and by this time the American people have forgot what the issue even was about. All they remember is "oh yea that global warming thing, yea Bush disproved that."

What I am trying to say is that I intentionally punched a very big whole in her arguement without offering anything else. I then wanted to run with it as long as I could until she was capable of disproving my hole. I did it with the same manners that the right often uses with the left, and the same tactics. Sure I cussed more but this is SuicideGirls, not the country club up the street. Since she never responded the act was null and void.

Or maybe she got board with someone yelling and making no point but that it's possible to argue. I don't know if you can say you win an argument with the other person walks away because you disdain facts.

well actually you can. The right does it all the time. That is MY POINT!

anyway, on to the point of your remarks. you didn't hint at all on how I disdained facts? You just brought up that I posed a disagreement (in a rude maner). What facts did I forgoe? Please do inform me. Because if you re-read my post you ill notice that I took the facts PROVIDED and ripped them to shreds because they had no SUPPORT!

Your right she probably walked away. But that's my point, and I'm making it to myself and several people around me. It's simple really...

IT USES AGGRESSION TO STAND UP FOR ITSELF
IT DOES NOT CITE FACTS, BUT MANIPULATES THEM
AND IT INTIMIDATES OTHER PEOPLE INTO MAKING THEM THINK THAT THE RIGHT WON!

But, when the "left" uses the same tactic against them they freak out, and cry foul play.

Well I say bullshit to that. If they think they can redefine the rules of academia, debate, and conversation, I say "I'll follow your rules, and I will claim victory just like yourself".

(if you want to get into a more indepth conversation about how i really think this is all horribly sad, and that the american people are de-evolving into name calling idiots who think that debate is like football I would love to, but that is another subject).

until they figure it out, i'm gonna have fun with them!!!
