If it's not worth having a thread about it, in your opinion, isn't it also pointless to come in and point out that it's pointless?

If you don't care then change the channel, dude. But don't pee in everyone elses' Cheerios.

But peeing in Cheerios is fun! And it takes great skill

peeing _through_ cheerios, now that takes skill. I'm up to 8 at a time.

Stadiums and such have a playlist just like a radio station. Usually songs that are simple, dancy/pump-you-up songs or that are played out enough to be innocuous. "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is probably the latter. Don't think too hard about it.

I thought it was funny. Funny in the way that Ronald Reagan used "Born in the USA" as a campaign song...completely missing the fact that it's a protest song.

As soon as I heard Sunday Bloody Sunday, I just rolled my eyes a little at the lack of imagination. I wasn't offended, I didn't think it was in bad taste....it just reinforced my belief that people are lowest-common-denominator-loving sheep. "Hey, it's Superbowl Sunday.....this song is about Sunday...let's use it"

What I find worse than the sheep are the people who get "offended" by something like this. It's a song...being used to promote a football game. They're not slaughtering babies...they're playing a song by a popular band because it happens to have "Sunday" in the title & chorus.

If FOX playing U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" during the Superbowl offended you...do us all a favor and step in front of a bus, because you're taking up valuable space on my planet.

not offensive to me

what was offensive were those commercials
the P Diddy Diet Pepsi one was the only one worth a damn

The only other one that made me crack up was the monkey taking photo copies of his butt.

Pissing in Cheerios, Cornflakes or pretty much any damn thing are EA's copywrites so please refrain from further use or they will buy everything around you too.
