Further proof that being an asshole pays off

This eminds me of 2 things. I remember some years ago there was a lawsuit involving a man who,while driving on the freeway, witnessed an accident and rushed to pull a women out of a burning car before it exploded. The women suffered injuries from the accident but sued the guy because he dragged her into a ditch to avoid the explosion. I belive that one was rightly thrown out of court.
The second thing is quote Ive hear alot from my friend Mike.

It seems like the lesson here is more that nice guys finish last, more than being an asshole pays off.

I sort of have a hard time believing that there isn't more to this story if the judge awarded damages to this apparently deranged woman. But judges do stupid shit all the time, so I guess you never know...

I would say that she probably ate the cookies in the ER while waiting to be committed... er admitted, but she said she went thinking it was a heart attack (the next day?!? You have friggin chest pains, you go to the doctor NOW). The quickest way to get admitted in an ER is to complain about chest pains. This lady just tripled her bill with all the unnesessary tests.

I can't believe the court actually gave her the money. It is not illegal to knock on someone's door. Absolutely ridiculous, it could have happened if anyone else would have knocked on the door other than the girls. I wouldn't be surprised if next time she is going to sue the mailman for delivering the mail because he dresses all blue and he looks like an alien ...

this is not a bad idea. i would fedex the woman a box of cookies. if enough people do this, it would ba a shaming nuisance. can anyone smoking gun search for the address or something?

I'd say that if everyone would mail me the cookies, I'd be sure that she got them, but people would probably spit (or worse) in them and I'm just going to eat them, so her lesson wouldn't be learned, and I'd eat spit cookies. No one wins.
