I just don't want my kids running around talking about frog cocks, or any cocks they saw on television. When he/she is mature so be it. And again...it should be up to the parents to decide when they should bring things up like this with kids. Hence the reason a parent is a parent and a television isn't.

I agree. That's why I don't want television to show any violence. I'll tell my kids about that when I think the are old enough. Bugs Bunny has to be taken off the air. The same kan be said about meat. Showing meat in television might prompt my three-year-old daughter to ask where meat comes from. I dont think she's old enough to learn that you kill animals to get meat, so TV shouldn't show meat, I should decide when my kids are ready to handle that. The same can be said about pop music, or alcohol, or George W. Bush, or dance, or Christians, or kissing, or the Internet. TV shouldn't show stuff like that, because that may lead to my children posing questions that I don't want to answer. I'm a parent, television isn't.

Geez. surreal

Do you know what is more traumatic to the kid than seeing a cartoon frog kob on tv?
Having to sit down aged 12 with a hysterical parent who says "I think it's time you learned about sex"
Kids don;t get traumatised by seeing these things on tv, the complaints are because parents are too uptight to have a reasonable attitude towards sex and sexuality.
Also, what kind of kids are first exposed to the animal penis when they see it on tv? Did they never play with a dog or a cat or a hamster? Give me a break. If the child is aware enough to ask the question then he/she is old enough to be given an answer.

I don't think it's a bad idea to have less cock in children's programming, but then I'm not a 'cool' dad. frown

kids don't care that much about things like that in europe. they hardly even notice. body parts are everywhere. it's a cartoon frog. i was a little surprised when i saw it at first but that's cuz i'm american and i still have some of that prudeness.
