here's a map skewed to represent population.



not very elegant, but it gets the point across.

i've thought it would be interesting to pick a bunch of parameters, like tax revenues, educational level, industrial productivity, etc., etc., and skew the state sizes according to those measures, but maybe everyone's bored with this topic.

i do recommend taking a look at the beyond red and blue map and discussion.

So what's the problem..

I've been saying we should be seperate countries for years.

We clearly have very little in common politically. So why not stop getting in each others way of living the way we want to and just split?
It's soooooooo fucking lame to try and keep sooo many people in such a large landmass sticking to the same rules and moralities. I mean look at europe. it's like 20 different countries, all with different laws, all jammed into the space of texas..
