Yep, when I want to read articles by people who have their finger on the pulse of American conservatism, the FIRST place I look is in The Nation.

You know, every time someone posts something anti-Bush from what is traditionally viewed as a conservative source, Stockula jumps in to say "They aren't real conservatives.. everyone knows that..."

Actually, he endorsed Bush on the McLaughlin Group just last week. He despises Bush, but I think he'd rather drop dead than endorse a Democrat. The managing editor of his magazine endorsed Kerry, which might be where you got that idea.
