I run 6 lines in a Laser Welding Plant and due to most major automotive companies shutting down for a period in July and August, we're really slow. So I have to tell like 20 people on a daily basis that I have no work for them to do and that they have to go home. These are really hard working blue collar guys and if fucking sucks that I have to take food off of their tables every other day. I can't tell anyone else that it breaks my heart every day to have to stand in front of each of them, seperately or in groups, and send them on their way so I figured I'd just get it off my chest here. I'm not looking for any advice, I just think that my wife is sick of hearing about it. Tell all of your friends and family to buy more cars.
I was just sitting here writing out about 2k worth of checks for my various bills and it bugs the fuck out of me that I have to be the one to break it to all these people that they probably won't be able to pay their own. I'm sure I'll be over it and back to being a prick tomorrow. No worries.
