i don't get the timing/severity of this attack...was it like "eureka, let's shoot missles at a blind and deaf quadriplegic man right when he leaves a religious ceremony. this will finally bring peace to israel."
i mean come on, that is a ridiculous move.
doesn't this play right into the whole "martyrdom" issue that fuels the base of support for hamas terrorism by many of the palestinians?
i just don't get it. why not capture him? could he have wheeled his ass away fast enough to escape helicopters, tanks, and other ground forces? i don't fuckin think so.
do i think the attack by israel was within their rights? yes.
do i think that hamas should be brought to an end? yes.
was this the right way to try to bring peace to a troubled region? hell no.
They once captured him, but when Israel tried another capture, Hamas kidnapped/captured 2 man from Israel secret services. So they had to arrange a deal. Hamas released the 2 man for Yassin.

Just because he was in a wheelchair doesn't mean he wasn't a murdering terrorist. What if Hitler had been in a wheelchair? Should he have been let off by the Allies in WWII?

Can someone explain to a dumb french canadian why the US are always backing the jew ?
Excuse me, I'm in the market for a nice pair of human skin lampshades and a matching human skull ashtray, can you refer me to one of your friends who might have some for sale?
dude, whats this ? I'm not going off about those conspiracy.... They are just ridiculous. I think my question is legit. Of course everyone have the right to defend themselves.... I would be scared like fuck if i lived in Israel.
All i'm asking is this. France said the attack was wrong. Why not the US ? That as nothing to do with some psycho conspiracy.

Actually the Us did release astatement of displeasure at this attacx
k, not as hardlined as some europeans , but dissent nonetheless.

I figured Israel would be criticized for what they did, but I would never expect another nation to say, "well, they did the right thing given the circumstances," either. But I think too many people misunderstand Israel's viewpoint to begin with, so the criticism I hear is meaningless.
I like how Israel gave a big fuck you to the world court on the hearing about the wall. That's what they have to do, world opinion be damned.

Exactly. Most of the world are chasing and trying to kill their own terrorists anyway, so they are the hypocrites.
For example, Jack Straw (Britain's foreign secretary) condemned the Yassin attack, but Britain went to war in Afghanistan over a terrorist attrocity. Now I applaud Britain for helping oust those loathsome regimes in Afghanistan & Iraq, but Britain is hardly in a position to criticize Israel for taking out a terrorist leader.
