hell no, foo'! Mr. T don't need to know this foo' to know he's just some turkey talkin' jive like jive-talkin' turkeys are prone to do! Mr. T understands that this foo' done typed himself, literally and figuratively, as a whacked-out nutjob, so Mr. T sees nothin' wrong with tellin' this foo' to stop all the jibba-jabba, foo'!

i'm just weird like that.

What makes me particularly suspicious in general is the people's raw capacity to put someone like me into a faction, onto the side of a given minority (here conpiracists for example) or to make it brief, to glue a sticker on my face, like, you know: you don't even know me boys ! I just have this cool song on my mind, you know: "you can't judge a book by just look at its cover". Yeah. But as a matter of fact, crowd only knows to yell out loud.
Scarcely is it capable to make assumptiions...

You're right, man, we're only making fun of you because we're all just closed-minded sheep.

Certainly it couldn't be because there were witnesses, security camera footage, and a suspect later arrested with gunshot wounds and carrying one of the dead officer's service weapons, and that the suspect had a long history of violent crime and in fact had, that very morning, told a friend he was going to kill some cops that day.

It's all too convenient. We must be sheep for believing it.

And of course, because we all believe it, your suspicions are rightfully strengthened. Because, you know, only sheep would believe in testimony of witnesses, testimony of the friends and family members of the shooter, and security camera footage. A smart, thinking, non-flock person such as yourself is put off by things like "evidence" and just makes shit up and decides to believe that instead.

@Shal
thank you for this useful comment.
like i've said twice before, assumptions are what they are: assumptions.
by the way, to make things a little clearer: i don't live in the U.S.A. and i don't have a TV so i really lack CNN and Foxnews or whatever you watch at. The topic just catch my eye because, in fact, four (4!) policemen beeing shot at once while having a mug of coffee, well, that's something that doesn't happen often here in france...

That appears puerile to me though, that a simple assumption (and yet i repeat myself once more) like that one may trigger such a flow of incomprehension and sarcasm. Are there any thick cultural barrier that one is forbidden to post any comment on an event that happened at the opposite side of the world ?
I presume the topic is delicate enough that it may raise some kind of susceptibility for that matter but then if such is the case, i'd like to express here apologies for hurting your sensibility. I often loose focus on what "freedom of speech" is exactly.

Thank you for providing me with this opportunity to practice the English tongue a little and to measure the temperature in the "land of the free".eeek

There's no cultural barrier involved. If you'd bothered to acquaint yourself with the facts before putting forth wild assumptions you would have saved yourself a lot of grief.

I don't have a TV either, and I don't watch CNN or Fox. However, you and I both do have the Internet, and I would assume you're capable of using Google to find more information about a news story? That's how I get my information.

We had no way of knowing you weren't a native English speaker, and no way of knowing you were French. We were operating under the assumption that you, like a few people who post here regularly, were a crazy conspiracy-theorist. You received the same amount of sarcasm and incomprehension that would have been received by an English-speaking American who'd posted the same thing.

Indeed: Making wild, absolutely baseless speculations about a horribly tragic event, and spinning off into insults about people who have actually made themselves familiar with the current facts of the case doesn't earn anyone an easy pass here.

But damned if he doesn't do a perfect impression of an American "lookit me; I'm an anarchist stoner on the super-fringes of society and thought! You sheeple need to recognize!"

your assumptions are ridiculous in light of the facts--facts which are freely available and easy to find. you can post almost anything you like on any topic you like, but when you choose to say things from a position of voluntary ignorance, many people here are going to deride you for it.
