I thought it was a brilliant if somewhat lesser speech of his, but I have a major criticism of the prayer before the speech, and the benediction afterwords. It seems that the entire thing was ultimitately framed by a Christian morality, a Christian dogma, and despite Obama's acknowledgement of the "unbelievers," I worry that in reality his administration is not going to stray too far from the morality that has defined and in my opinion constrains our development and progression as a society. Whatever happened to the seperation of church and state? There were too many prayers during this whole ceremony for my tastes. Ho-hum...

Maybe, but I doubt it. We'll see. Policy speaks louder than prayers.
