One of my students told me her final exams are rescheduled so students can watch the inauguration.

I guess they're starting some concert now.

The one thing that is really striking to me is how cool Washington DC looks when we do these types of events. I know that the design of the capitol was done intentionally to create a sense of awe, but man. It worked.

NYU used to torture people this way. We would grant incompletes often bc people would return from the break discombobulated.
