Awww.

Though I meant that it turns into that for anyone threatening its family. Invest in a well-trained rott and we can avoid a Bad Dudes situation.

I don't think it will be a problem.

You are (maybe) correct!

WASHINGTON (AFP) – President-elect Barack Obama says he and his family have narrowed their choice of pet hound to one of two breeds, and are ready to start combing animal shelters to find the lucky dog.

"They seem to have narrowed it down to a labradoodle or a Portuguese water hound," Obama told ABC's This Week in an interview broadcast Sunday.

"We're now going to start looking at shelters to see when one of those dogs might come up."

Here's a cute labradoodle picture for the sake of being fair and balanced:

I used to live with a person who had a Portuguese Water dog . I can tell you two things about it . It needed a ton of exercise . And it had done a wonderful job of training it's owner . It was a scary smart dog & was also not very well trained about being socialized with people . I know I saw it jump & nip at folks for laughing too loud a few times . Not sure if they are hard to train as a breed , but am pretty sure about the high energy level as far as breeds go .

I don't mean to leave an irritating comment and then ditch off, but as someone who loved people very much, I think that they are capable of violence just like an animal, and I'm starting to not like being around many types of people.

Most people will not suddenly turn violent, but they could.
I'm beginning (against all ods as a kid who loved them) to not like people very much.

How do you know they won't go nuts?

I really and truly hope that I am wrong and that certain types can be trusted. I do feel safe around Black People, as they seem so smart and there is an easily readable feel about them.

What are some other experiences that people have had with different types of people?

The fact of the matter is yr more likely to get killed by a person or yourself than you are by a dog. The CDC's statistics don't even give death-by-dog (or any animal) its own section, it's so relatively insignificant. Remember that woman who got killed by her quasi-incestuous neo-Nazi neighbors outside her apartment? Why do you think it was such a big deal? Among other things, because it's such a freak occurrence that someone is killed in an unprovoked dog attack.
