I have no problem with Obama himself. Some of his fans on the other hand... In that way he's kind of the Radiohead of American politics.

I suppose that I can understand. But the underscored part. . .no so much.

At least around 1997, when I mostly hung out around music boards, Radiohead fans were usually the mos obnoxious and smug bastards around. I remember once getting a royal ass chewing for saying The Bends is a better album than OK Computer. Kind of reminds me a bit of the incredulous Obama supporters who can't believe you didn't vote for their guy. I won't deny McCain has his fair share of asshole supporters, but on average I've found Obama fans to be infinitely more pushy and condescending.

Right. Show me one example where an Obama supporter said "kill McCain" "Bomb McCain" "McCain's a Muslim", called McCain a terrorist, questioned his citizenship, his heritage, his commitment to his country or any of the other incredibly incendiary, racist and horrible things that McCain supporters, and the campaign itself constantly said about Obama. There's hours of footage of such atrocious disgusting behavior at McCain rallies.
"Pushy" and "condescending" doesn't even hold a candle to the garbage spewed forth by the McCain campaign and their supporters. Trying to compare the two is asinine and ludicrous.

Using a very simple Google search shows that there have literally been dozens of credible threats against Obama that have resulted in arrests. Flipping that same search over to McCain does not show any.

Not to further derail this, but "dozens of credible threats" is kind of a stretch. Most of those articles are about the same story. The group in Denver was never a credible threat.

I've seen people on this site suggest he's the greatest president ever,

Link please. Proof please. Direct quote please.

It's pretty much all I've heard for the past two years now. Maybe "greatest of all time" is stretching it, but not by much. Some people here seem to think he shits gold bricks.

Then it should be really easy for you to find quotes, and lots of them. So find 'em, or quit whining.

Hey Rappaccini, I'm still waiting for those quotes... or are you going to admit that you were pulling it out of your ass?

Are you joking? Are you actually trying to deny these boards are overrun with Obama fanboys/girls?

This is typical right wing hyperbole. It's bullshit, and right-wingers say bullshit like this a lot, to make less of voters who went for Obama.

I'm tired of this dishonest and bankrupt tactic. You said it, you back it up.
