And I do not believe that the 'community organization' is an upstanding organization. Just because there are groups that are worse does not mean that there is nothing wrong with it's practices.
wrong is wrong.
I'm not saying the Republicans should be focusing on the thin connection between Obama and ACORN, that is obnoxious, but I do believe that any organization that has a history of any kind of fraud should be under pressure. Conservative or Liberal.... wrong is wrong. That's all I'm saying.

If you were well read on the subject, you would understand that ACORN is not doing anything wrong and are actually the victims. But you are not. Feel free to do a little reading on the subject.

On the Democratic side, we have ACORN, an organization that may have pretty crappy hiring policies, but complies with the law and submits every single voter registration form they collect, and flag those they know or suspect to be bogus.
give me a break.... they are all dirty, or at least there are scum bags on both sides.
Give -me- a break. Whoever said this is about good and evil? These are popular labels used by morally bankrupt people, zealots or blind followers of the previous.
This is actually about moral stance and ideas. One party is trying to discredit a group that is working to get more people voting. Sure they haven't done a perfect job, but by flagging applications they consider fraudulent they are obviously not trying to commit fraud themselves.
So to put this in simple terms I hope you understand, the Democrat elite might be a bunch of power hungry politicians like the Republicans, or possibly not, it's irrelevant to me. The ideas they represent is what I judge.
Take nearly any powerful leader in history and you will find skeletons in their closet, however those skeletons should not diminish their great works.
"So, is the assumption that this somehow favors Republicans?"
I keep waiting to see examples of voter suppression from the other side. I keep waiting to see ways that Republican interests are making it easier to vote, too. I keep wondering why this is so hard if both sides have such clean hands, or at least "equally dirty" hands.
Nobody claiming parity in this issue seems to be able to answer my concerns. I just wonder why that is.
