It's not even just Bush or his administration. It's not even Republicans or Democrats. It's that the whole system is now completely controlled by money. Any talk of real freedom is a joke. What we have is the freedom to be ignored.
I knew it wouldn't be long before the inevitable correlation between the Big Satan and Nazi Germany was established...
and it is as ignorant asinine and repulsive as I expected it to be.
I think it is perfectly reasonable to compare Bush's invasion of Iraq to Hitler' actions in the Rhineland in MARCH OF 1936.It doesn't, however, follow that Bush = Hitler. Hitler committed progressively worse violations of Human Rights as time went on, ultimately becoming one of the most evil figures of all time. Bush doesn't compare ( to the finished product ), but neither did Adolf in 1936.I believe Hal's point is that it is important to speak up now, rather than wait like many did in 1936.A historical recap:
March 7, 1936 - 22,000 German soldiers invade the Rhineland, breaking the treaties of Versailles and Locarno. Invasion is justified by claims that Germany was threatened by an agreement between France and the USSR. France, Britain, and the League of Nations took no action as they did not want to risk war.

Damned league of nations not acting. Funny thing is, Bush seems to have predicted all of this comparison crap ahead of time. Remember when he said something about the UN acting like the League of Nations? But then the UN has enough issues without me reminding people of them.
