I was thinking some of the same things.
I'm still trying to get over the oil-drilling thing. I really think he changed his views to appeal to McCain. Certainly he realizes that one mistake and this state is fucked if we started drilling. Not to mention the whole ten-years-to-market reality.
I'm glad he's keeping up with the everglades. Sure, we probably over-paid for the property, but I'm glad to see him move in the right direction.
