Ummm, everyone I know had rather a lot to say about the contrast between his treatment of the Clinton campaign and his treatment of administration officials.

Sorry, but he had a mean streak and a double standard. Probably not cool to mention at, say, his funeral, but a perfectly valid point when everyone is falling over themselves to lionize him

NBC announced today that Tom Brokaw will replace Tim Russert through the November election. He retired in 2004 from the nightly news, and is 68.

I guess given that they needed an experienced reporter from within, he is a decent choice, although I recall learning he gave money to GWB's 2000 presidential campaign.

Then again, he may have given to both GWB and Gore -- not sure...

Tom Brokaw is 68!! wow. i hope i look that healthy at 48.
