I'll be honest, I don't know much about Chet Edwards, so I'm assuming your assertion is based on this:

But the congressman might have a leg up on the competition in at least one other area, he would do Obama proud in a sport that is traditionally favored by presidents and vice presidents. As a youngster, Edwards was an avid, accomplished golfer.

And my feeling is anyone who may be influenced by fox news wasn't voting for Barack HUSSEIN Obama anyway.

EDIT: After looking at his voting record, he seems to be exactly as he was described, a moderate Dem from a conservative district. Anti-abortion, pro-agriculture, etc.
