For my Gary Fisher Mendota, about $6 or $7. Its how much my lunch cost me, which is kind of like filling up. I sold my car and have been riding a bike for about a year and a half. Who-hoo take that you dirty suckers! (Of gas... For you car... Er, global warming? ... Peak oil? ... Weakening US currency? ... Debt? ... Anyone? Uh... Yeah.). blush

I stopped at £70 thats almost but not quite full
Thats $137
Which is a third of my weekly wage (I have a shitty low paid job frown )

Which is why I usually cycle everywhere. I only filled up as I have to drive 300 miles+ in the next week.

My fillup for the year was 6.95 wetlube petroleum product, I forget if it was taxed, I bicycle, I know some people can't commute to work or the grocery store, but I like about half of americans can,but unlike them choose to. I tried driving to commute long distance and work long hours and thanks to some very nice rumble strips I'm still alive.. Yay me! So I decided to find a job closer to where I live doesn't pay as much, but dropping the 2 and half hour a day commute I think makes up for it. Sometimes thinking globally and actiing locally actually works out for everyone. :-)

$294 AU, so it would be $278.89 US for diesel. We have a 37 Gallon tank.

I have seen prices hit $2.20 per litre in our area for diesel and $1.98 for unleaded. eeek

Every day I say to myself... could I possibly pick a worse time to be considering moving across country? I'm holding my breath for gas to hit six a gallon before I rent that U-Haul and set out from Long Beach to Philadelphia. That should be nice.

Oh, and it's currently costing The Wife and I about forty-five to fill the fucking Saturn coupe that I can barely fit into.

I don't fill up anymore, it hurts too badly. I stop at $30, which gives me little more than half a tank in my Chevy Cobalt.

Same here. I stop at $30 or $40 these days. I have a 2002 VW Golf. My commute is only 16 miles roundtrip, so I'm just keeping other driving to a minimum these days.

That's funny, we are working out how to move from Miami to Portland.

Hint: Sell everything and start over. Forget the U-haul.

£33.94 for 29 litres... which is $66 for 7.5 gallons, if I've done my sums right. And that's just less than 2/3 of a tank.

Over $50 and I had 1/4 of a tank in my Grand Prix when I pulled in. Missouri even has some of the lowest gas prices. Fuck this, I want a motorcycle. VW is supposed to have a 2.5 liter diesil coming out soon that gets 75mpg. Link

This link gives you info on gas milage for different cars.
