I just spent 3 minutes trying to figure out what your point was. It doesn't appear there was one, since those videos just told us things we already knew, much of which was already said in this thread. How about a little context next time, maybe a clue as to what it is you're asking us to watch, since embedded videos are stripped of even a title.

Sorry, didn't get allot of sleep skull . What I was showing that they did meet and seemed to have gotten along. This should be a clue that Hillary wont try to be a spoiler and will try to get all of her supporters to vote for Obama instead of voting for McCain and that there is a chance that the party will be united.

Ah, fair enough. I assumed that was common knowledge at this point, given the news about the email she sent to her supporters.

I am a bit behind of the Obama/Hillary news it seems.

I also think some people on this website and other places have taken the idea that Hillary Supporters will vote for McCain a bit too far. Democrats are 82% satisfied and 18% not satisfied with their candidate but this is from about two weeks ago (Obama was still the front runner). So at most 5% will vote for McCain. While independents are 44% satisfied with the crop of candidates and 55% not satisfied (Libertarians don't seem too happy about Bob Barr/Wayne Allen Root ticket). But McCain has the biggest trouble since for Republicans 24% are satisfied, and 76% are not satisfied. Although to be honest I am not sure where the polls where taken from since I read it on a talk show transcript but they seem about right.

She says she will not pressure Obama to be the Veep, saying it is his decision alone.

But that still isn't saying she won't take it of offered.

I'm not sure how I would feel about her as the VP. Sure, she would bring many of her supporters with her, but if she isn't right for the Presidential job, how can she be right for the job one step away?

I would never vote for that ticket. It seems hypocritical since she is old school politics and he claims he is for change. I would offer her a cabinet post though, if that makes any sense, like Secretary of State. I think she would be good at that or perhaps something which covers health.

I don't pay any attention at all to national polls, since they're virtually meaningless with regard to the general presidential election, so I don't know how those numbers match up with recent stuff, but I do know that all of those crosstabs and trends are different depending on which state you're looking at, so it's not like one can draw any real conclusions on a national scale from them at this point.

I think I'd rather she stay in the Senate as a strong supporter.

i'd like to be able to walk out of my place of employment after work tonight with a brand new, thousand dollar laptop that i didn't have to pay for. i'm not entirely confident in the likeliness of either happening.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
my main doubt centers around the "strong" tagged on there. i am of the belief that Hilary will do what is best for Hilary, whether it's supporting Barack or by quietly undermining his presidency if it will serve to get her into the White House faster. if President Obama is a strong president, and serves to be the antithesis of (current) President Bush, then i don't doubt she'll be supporting most of his initiatives. similarly, i see both working together against a *shudder* McCain presidency, to the best that the DNC can manage.

i just don't see her self-serving nature and "strong supporter" going hand-in-hand. maybe just supporter, but certainly not strong. maybe on the outside, but never on the inside.

She gave her speech, said to support Obama . . . and some of her crowd boo-ed her.

Sore losers.

Not too bad a speech, I thought. Better late than never.

They'll be voting for McCain, because it's difficult to dissuade a sore loser with anything other than cheesecake.

I think cthulhu has a crush on Hillary. He just can't stop thinking about her.

He's never gonna give her up...

Never gonna say goodbye...

I really am not trying to anger anyone, I guess it is a feeble attempt to try to keep things lighthearted. I apologize and will refrain from doing so. The topic of discussion on this thread is about Hillary, if not, please believe I wouldn't bring her up. Thank god she's old news! By the way, that Rick shit is played out like trucker hats and what the media is now calling a "fist bump".
